Features & Benefits

With 40% better early strength, AfriSam All Purpose Cement is ideal for a wide variety of applications. These include brick and block making, reservoirs, swimming pools, precast operations and shotcrete, as well as structural concrete, plaster and mortar.

Better cohesiveness
Adding Fly Ash to Portland cement increases the cohesiveness of the mix and improves workability. Microscopic spheres in the Fly Ash improve the water demand of mortars and plasters made with All Purpose Cement. Plus, the resultant mix bonds plaster better because of its stickiness.

Reduced permeability
Mineral components improve concrete density, and reduce the potential penetration of harmful substances such as oxygen, moisture, carbon dioxide, chloride or sulphates. This minimises the risk of corrosion, improves durability and makes for stronger structures.

Mass Concrete Structures:
Created for the builder who aspires to perfection in every structure, AfriSam All Purpose Cement has mineral components which allow for a low heat of hydration, creating concrete that cracks less and is more dependable.
